About Us

Mike Schmitz, the owner and primary craftsman, is hands-on for all projects and carefully coordinates all aspects of the work with his clients.

Born and raised in Victoria, Mike has been doing renovation work for over 25 years.  He started Make It So Renovations in 2021 so that he could deliver the highest quality projects on his own terms.

Converting a tub to a shower is one of the more common elements of our projects. We offer the full range of options from pre-formed acrylic shower pans through to curbless custom tiled shower floors.

Fine finishing

Your project isn't complete until it's been trimmed, painted and all fixtures installed. Make It So Renovations is meticulous in our approach to finishing your project. We always do a final homeowner's review and punchlist to ensure that you're excited about the final product.
